To delete data outside the selected map area

There is an option in the app:
Maps & Layers → Select and save an area. It is possible to select and load map tiles of the required area.
What about the other action Select an area → Clear data outside of the selected area? This idea was suggested by one of the app users on the Russian forum 4pda. By doing so, the cache can be cleared of unnecessary tiles and only the required data in the selected area is left. At the moment, it is possible to clear the cache of the whole map, and this is not always necessary.

Hi Alex,
Unfortunately it's not possible. I've made the choice of using one file per map storage, so you cannot delete partial data, otherwise it will jus leave empty parts in the file, but won't reduce it's size anyway.
So you cannot not only delete areas, zoom levels, etc.
To do this, you must either use file based maps, or workspaces.
