Hi, I'm trying to decide between Offline Maps with several in-app purchases and AlpineQuest Pro.
How much are the in-app purchase items? Do they have distinct prices (e.g. Import is more expensive than Display, GeoPackage cheaper than KML, ...) or is it a flat price for each feature? Is Offline with all purchases more expensive than AQ Pro?
From the compare table the feature set between the two is nearly the same with Follow Route and Track Recorder being the the most significant differences. Assuming I don't care about those features and that the price difference isn't worth getting concerned about, what other factors should I think about? Which of the two do you suggest?
(http://www.alpinequest.net/compare should have higher prominence. It took me quite a bit of searching and poking around to find it.)
Thanks!

Re: Choosing between Offline Maps and AlpineQuest Pro
I would expect Alpine Quest Pro to always be the most fully featured and up to date. Personally I had a very quick look at Alpine Quest Lite, liked what I saw and immediately went for Pro and have not regretted it. I have no experience of Offline Maps so can't comment on that.

Maphew, thanks for your interest in those apps.
OfflineMaps is free so you can install it and see the prices of individual items.
As of now, AlpineQuest is like a bundle of all features for a very good price, but only you can know if you'll need it all.

There isn't a price list somewhere? I don't want to install an appp just to find out what the items cost.Psyberia-Support wrote: ↑Mon Aug 01, 2022 10:50 am OfflineMaps is free so you can install it and see the prices of individual items.

Hrmm. I was hoping for a price list in advance so I don't have to install just to get prices. However I did that, so now I'll share so others in the same boat don't have to. Summary: buy AlpineQuest if you want more than 3 premium features.Psyberia-Support wrote: ↑Mon Aug 01, 2022 10:50 am OfflineMaps is free so you can install it and see the prices of individual items.

The prices change on a regular basis (adjusted to exchange rates as default prices are in EUR), so the only way to get up to date prices in your own currency is to check in the app.
