Hi all.
I'm confused about two speed modes in explorer mode. What do they represent?

Re: Need explanation about meaning of different speeds
Hi,
"Speed (total)" is the mean speed since you started the track recorder. It uses the total distance and total time.
"Speed (in motion)" is the mean speed since you started the track recorder, while you're in movement. It does not take in account the time when you're stopped.
If you always move, both speeds are equals, otherwise the speed in motion is higher.
You can also display the real time speed called just "Speed".

So we can say it's basically an average speed, one with stops excluded, and one that also counts time while standing still. In my opinion, it will be more understandable if you include "avg" next to "total" and "in motion".
