Hello, I am a new user and I love, LOVE, LOOOOVE your software. I practise guerilla gardening offgrid and frequently need detailed maps to navigate logging roads. I have been searching for years for this product and am very, very happy to have found it.
I need some help understanding how the different levels of zoom function work for offline aerial maps. When I try to save an area, it will show an initial map size which I assume includes all zoom levels (~200gb for instance) but when I start the saving process, it only saves the uppermost zoom levels (~1.5gb). Is there any way around this problem? I would like to save all of the available tiles, at all zoom levels, for a rather large area (20,000+ km^2). I have a dedicated hard drive so space isn't an issue.
Any help is appreciated,
Wild Clover

Re: Zoom storage for downloads
Hi Wild,
In the store area tool, when you change the maximum zoom level to store, the application will give you an approximate size of total download. This is only an approximation, the only way to exactly know the size is to download it.
Then, there is a limited size of download for each store area process. When the zoom bar turns red, it means that you'll not be able to download all the data at once (right now the limit per process is 100.000 image tiles I think). You'll need to start the store area tool multiple times (when you start the store area tool a second time, the first 100.000 images already available will be ignored and the app will download the next 100.000 ones, etc.).
But if you need to download extra large amounts of data, maybe it's better to do it from your computer with a dedicated app like MOBAC, then put the map files on your device.
The application will only store a limited amount of data
