I am sailing through the Indian ocean with my sailboat. I want to download and store Bing sat images for later use when I arrive at an island and don't have internet.
I understand that I can not download Google for later use.
I can't find what the limits are on how many maps/how much map data I can download. Is there a limit (other than available physical storage on my android phone) ?
thanks
Ernie

Re: Sat image download limits
Hi,
There is no soft limit in the application about the storage size (storage of more than 100GB have been tested).
However the "Store area" has a download limit each time you start it (so you may need to restart it multiple times if the area is too large or the zoom too detailed).
About the google maps, please see this: https://www.alpinequest.net/forum/viewt ... f=5&t=2314
