Add button to view .AQX
Add button to view .AQX
It is very kind of you to let us copy, in two steps, the two parts to this file's name on disk. However wouldn't it be great to add a third button, that would simply launch our browser with the complete file name as the argument allowing us directly to view the file in one step instead of needing to paste the two parts together and feed them to our browser. Thank you.

Re: Add button to view .AQX
Here's an example of a complete file name to an .AQX, that Chrome can use: file:///storage/emulated/0/Android/data/net.psyberia.offlinemaps/files/datastore/custom-maps/COM.55.AQX

Re: Add button to view .AQX
In the next update, I'll add the ability to visualize or edit AQX files before importing them.

OK. Also if adjustments to e.g., projection-false-origin... do not require different file storage on disk, then I would allow them to be also changed via each layers' three dot menus.
Re: Add button to view .AQX
By the way, be sure to add an "load an aqx" button to the Available Maps menu because currently all the plus button does is go to the Community Maps totally ignoring the possibility that the user perhaps wants to install an .Aqx file.

Re: Add button to view .AQX
You must select an AQX file to install it, because there is no file picker in Android.

Re: Add button to view .AQX
It also turns out that "opening an AQX file with offline maps" produces much different results then just simply placing the aqx bile into the directory.
In the former case, the data files etc, all get a prefix added automatically.
So maybe there should be a dialogue, when a user opens a aqx file with offline maps, that asks him which fashion of opening does he want.
