Display the main feature of landmarks (tracks, areas, etc.)

1. In "Displayed placemarks".
For tracks and areas (and similar) - display information about the length and area, respectively.
Example:

2. Also, display in the tooltip.

It might be worth adding an option through "user_settings.conf", or permanently on default.

Hi,
Yes you're right.
It has already been requested for tracks ("Display some stats information in the popups of tracks"), but it could be done for other types of placemarks like areas.
I think a regular setting could be used to let user choose what kind of information to display.
I'll add it when possible (it will requires some work since the stats can take a few seconds to compute, so it's not just a simple display).
