Hi, François!
Displayed maps.
Edit section.
There are several options. Now if we make changes in one of them they work only untill we open another map. To save changes users have to add a map or a set of maps as a Favourite. To my point of view it is not obvious. I think it would be more helpful to add a couple of new commands to the Edit section.
Save changes → it saves all changes made in a map.
Discard changes → it returns all map settings to default values.
Thanks.

Re: Edit maps
Hi Alex,
I don't really understand the difference between the suggested "Save change" button and the existing "Save as favorite set" button 4 here (appart of having one displayed favorite item).
Also in the suggested version, do you need to save each map separately?

Hi, François.
You are right.
But I mean that not everybody reads the link of the online help, but everybody sees the menu in the application. And it is not obvious here. Imagine I made a lot of changes, opened another map for a while, than I come back to the previous map with my changes and I get a surprise.
Anyway you know better, I've just made an idea.
Also I may save it as a Favourite map to open in a click.
If I make new changes in a map all them automatically are saved in the Favourite map.
You are right.

The idea is to save changes or discard them if required separately for every displayed map. The changes are saved even if I close the map and open another map and then go back to the map where I made changes. Also in the suggested version, do you need to save each map separately?

Hi Alex!
And if we have several " favorite set"? And let's say in one favorite set a black and white card must be, and in another favorite set color and inverse.
How to be then?

Yes it's true, you can have the same map in various favorite sets with different settings.

Hi, François!
Is there any sense to add a small blue info (hint) to the "Edit" section of the displayed maps? A kind of "to save changes, please, save the map as a Favourite"... or something like this.
What do you think of it?

Re: Edit maps
Yes absolutely that could be good to add.
I'll think of a message and let you know, but something very similar to what you said.
