Google Maps sharing link doesn't move to the location

https://google.com/maps/place/24.1639386,120.7205738 is a link generated by the app when sharing a location. Tapping this link opens up the Google Maps Android application. However it just opens it up; it doesn't move to the point where it should. Now in other situations tapping this URL instead opens the browser and goes to maps.Google.com, whereupon it works correctly. Therefore more research needs to be done to figure out the current correct URL that will move to the right position in both situations. As we know Google is not forthcoming with their internal configurations. So you'll just have to reverse-engineer it yourselves.

Okay, here's the analysis of the link that they actually use to make the map move. Of course there's some stuff in there that offline maps just couldn't generate on its own...

Not sure where the problem comes from, but on both my smartphone (with the Maps app) and my PC (with the google maps website), the location is displayed on the map is centered over this location...
