Hi

it would be most useful if when starting Alpine quest, the screen would open on the last used offline map instead of the default map. Alternatively is it possible to reset the default map to another downloaded map.

Secondly when moving from one map to another it would appear that it is necessary to manually open the new map. Again could it be made so that this is done automatically.

Hi and thanks for your feedbacks.
At startup, AlpineQuest resumes the last used map (online or offline) just like you suggest. If the prevously used map is no more available, then the default map is used. Let me know if there is something wrong with your device.

Right now this is not possible to change the default map.
Concerning the maps "auto-switch", you're right, this could be done. I'll add it in the wanted features list.

thank you for your reply. Yes my Samsung Galaxy S always opens on the default map even though there are offline maps stored on the phone.

I think that you have a Galaxy S related issue (described here).
I'll try to make a special handling in AlpineQuest.
