How do I update the app

Hi
Android 8.0 LG V20
running 2.2.4
Thought I'd upgrade to latest version but could not find an update option
Installed form playstore and now have two versions 2.2.4 and 2.2.7!!
There has to be a better way?

If you have initially purchased (or installed the free version) from the Play Store, then all updates are made by the Play Store.
If you have two version I guess you have one free and one paid.
The last version is 2.2.7.

I installed the free version (and very good it is too) but dont get any updates (or at least it is still 2.2.4 so maybe no updates for free version?)

So to get the full version I must download the current version 2.2.7 and install then register.

But this installs in a different location from 2.2.4 free version (or at least both are then available) which I have used a bit and I really don't want to lose all the 2.2.4 data when I upgrade to the paid version.

How do I move to 2.2.7 full and not lose 2.2.4 data?

You don't have to register the application. If you purchase it from the Play Store, then the paid version is installed and you can use it.
If you want to reuse all your data from the Lite version, you can copy the data from the Lite app folder to the paid version app folder: https://www.alpinequest.net/en/help/faq ... old_device
