Hi and thanks for AlpineQuest.
Map calibration in AQ is a very useful feature!
As far as I understand if the lock is open I can put put a calibration point.
If the lock is closed I can move the corner of a map to shift it to some other location. The same thing is for another corners.
I think it would be comfortable to add an ability to shift the whole map. For example I shift it all to the chosen place and then I shift corners precisely and after I calibrate the points.
I do not know how it may be done technicaly. Maybe with a long press on the map on the screen for calibration and then shift it to the appropriate place on the screen or to make an ability to close all 4 locks so that a calibrated map can be shifted as a whole.

Re: Map calibration suggestion
Hi Alex,
I've just published a new beta version (2.2.7 RC1) in which you have a way to move the map as you want:
Before starting to calibrate the points, open the calibrations dialog (the tools icon left of the close button) and un-select all points except the first one.
Then you can move the map with this point only.
Then activate the other points and start the calibration.

Hi, François!
It works, thanks!

Hi, François!
I don't think it's normal when the map to calibrate becomes small if I deselect 3 corners of 4.
This is how it looks like → https://cloud.mail.ru/public/5rRr/b2PHnGSnd

Re: [done] Map calibration suggestion
Hi Alex,
I agree it's not very convenient but it's "normal". With only 1 calibration point, the application is not able to "scale" the map, so it display the image over the map with a 1 image pixel=1 map pixel. So sometimes the image becomes small, sometime larger it depends on the number of pixels in the image.
Then with 2 calibrations points you can move+scale+rotate, with 3 calibrations points make affine transformations and with 4 calibrations points you can make projective transformations.
