Hello Alpine Quest,
Thank you for an incredible app.
I am a walking guide and have accumulated many waypoints [hundreds] on my alpine quest app. When I still used Garmin [which I have long abandoned since using Alpine Quest] I was able to store all my waypoints in Base Camp.
Been able to store my waypoints on a different device is important [risk management] - Should I lose my existing device, losing my waypoints would be a disaster [it has taken years to accumulate this level of information]. I can see how to save them one by one but based on the number I have, this is neither practical nor time efficient.
Three questions:
How can I save all of these waypoints/ placemarks in one process. Versus one by one?
Can I save them online?
Can I save them on my computer?
Thanking you kindly,
lutz

Re: Saving Waypoints
Hi Lutz and thanks for your support.
The application saves all its data in one single folder, see more details here: https://www.alpinequest.net/en/help/v2/settings/storage
So you can:
- Create a zip file of the waypoints folder, backup it where you want (on your PC, on an OTG USB key, on your Drive/Dropbox/... account);
- Use an application like Google Drive auto-sync to automatically make backup the waypoints folder on your drive account. Same for Dropbox.
Hope it helps.
