Hello,
The scale bar is a very useful tool when displayed in AQ.
I think that there is a problem when the map is inclined because the scale bar isn't displayed accordingly with the map or with the circular scale if shown also.
Ok, it's normal because picture deformation, but in this case (inclined map) maybe it should be good to hide automatically the top left scale bar.
Your feeling ?

Re: Scale bar behaviour
Hi,
Yes you're right, I'll correct this (update the scale bar correctly when the map is in perspective mode).

Re: Scale bar behaviour
Hi François,
I'm sorry, but i think it's not possible to display correctly the scale bar for inclined map, because it can't have the good lenght (variable) for top screen or bottom screen at same time …
For me, a scale bar have sense only for a flat map, reason why i propose to hide it when the map is inclined.
In this case, the circular scale have all sense.

Re: Scale bar behaviour
The scale is only correct at the screen center, horizontally. It will still show the scale at this point.

Re: Scale bar behaviour
It's OK. Thank you very much.
Re: Scale bar behaviour
Hello, and thanks for this update.
In my case, if I incline slowly the map with two fingers, the scale bar change quickly and display wrong length.
If needed I can attach screenshots.

Re: Scale bar behaviour
How to you check the length?

Re: Comportement de barre d'échelle
OK, screenshots attached
(SC1 = flat map)
(SC2 = map with small inclination) Maybe it's normal behaviour if you want to reduce the lenght of the scale bar for big inclination ? Right ?

Re: Scale bar behaviour
For me the scale bar remains coherent.
200m * 2.5 = 500m
200m * 2.5 = 500m

Re: [fixed] Scale bar behaviour
Yes, it's OK, but I thought you wanted to keep the same length for the scale bar as the radius distance between center point and first circle.
I understand now.

Re: [fixed] Scale bar behaviour
In the absolute I would like to keep the same length, you're right.
But I think in this case it's OK, because I also want the radius ruler not to change when you incline the view, otherwise it becomes to small...

Re: [fixed] Scale bar behaviour
I think the same.
Scale bar works fine for me.
Thank you very much.
