Turn MEASURE line OFF

I have used the AlpineQuest Lite version for one weekend, and I am very impressed. I especially like the bearing line to destination and extended heading lines. However, when zooming in or out, or panning around while navigating, the measure tool keeps coming up (even though it's turned off in the Settings ( "Display distance line" unchecked). For me, most of the time, the measure tool is a bother, and I would just like to have it turned off. Of course, there are times when it's a nice feature to have, and you should be able to turn it on.

Is there something else that I need to do to turn the measure line OFF ?

Hi and thanks for your feedback,
I think that what you call the measure line is the target line.
If so, just click on the map center dot and on the black cross at the right end of "Set as target" to remove the current target.

The "Display distance line" option is for the blue line from the screen center dot to your current GPS location (if GPS location is ON).
