[done] How to calculate path distance between 2 points in an active track?

While recording a track, I would like to know what distance I am (along the path of the track) from an earlier point on the track. It seems that in "statistics", you can get the current total track distance, but cannot get distance for any of the individual track points.

After you stop recording, you can touch a track point, go to Details, memorize the "distance" given; do the same for a second point, and then subtract. But that is both awkward, and less useful, since usually I am on a hike when I want to know "how far have we gone since this intersection?".

This seems like a very basic feature requirement for an app like this, so probably I am just missing something. Otherwise it's an outstanding app and I value it greatly! However, it should be easier to find this information.

Actually this is only possible to get this information on previously recorded tracks, but not on the track being currently recorded.
For previously recorded tracks, you can click on any location to get stats from the beginning to this location, and from this location to the end.

I'll make sure this is also possible for tracks being currently recorded.

Hi Leif,
It's not listed because it has been added in the last released version (2.2.1).
Click on any location of the track being recorded (blue), then on the right most icon, and check the "Done so far" and "Remaining on path" sections.
