As far as a know there is no online help for online placemarks usage.

Could you please explain in brief how to use it?
How should I add a friend, share my placemarks and see his placemarks etc.?

Hi Alex,
Yes unfortunately there is still no online help for Online waypoints.
I still plan to make lot of changes with them, including the ability to share tracks and other stuff more than only waypoints. So I was waiting for this before making the online help.
In few words you need to create a simple account, then you can save waypoints on it. You can create sub-folders to store your waypoints, with a "visibility": private is visible only for you, "hidden" for everyone that know its name, and public for everyone.
In your "friends" section, you can add other users as your "friends". There is no validation like in FB. You'll then be able to browse public folders of this user.
