I have used offline maps for land navigation, but I noticed you have plugin for export of KML files. THis is good, but I would like to know if there is a way to make the waypoints and before I export them to include an altitude field.
My intended use is to use offline maps to go in the field with a drone, set waypoints by their UTM or lat/lon coordinates, along with what altitude I want the drone to fly. Then export the kml file and my drone will read the file and fly that mission.
I'm reaching here, but am also hoping. Thanks.

Re: altitude
Hi,
In the current version, the only way to do this would be to use the "Compute slope" tool:
- Tap the map center icon -> Create a placemark -> Compute slope.
For each point you enter, the application will ask for an elevation.
Then you can export the create route as KML. Note that it will create a route (ordered list of waypoints) and not waypoints...
Let me know if it can do the job
