Google maps satellite actual versions

Is there a way to have updated Google maps satellite versions? People on 4pda russian forum say that AQ on-demand Google Sat map is out-of-date, i.e. the actual Google map version in AQ is different to actual Google version.

Hi Alex,
The maps are the same, the application will take them directly from Google maps.
You can clear the map cache to ensure the application will download and use the last version.
