[closed] Layer ordering in PLUS version

Hello,
I'm using OfflineMaps+ and the strange thing to me is that there are no controls (or I can't find those) to set up layers order when I have chosen more then 1 layer to display. In free version everything is simple and clear - context menu shows layer ordering among opacity, color details and other possible action. In PLUS I can see only Details, Opacity, Edit Color and Remove points, nothing else.

Hi,
Both version will behave the same, the layers ordering controls should be at the same place.
If you don't see them, be sure you have more than one map displayed (the default base map doesn't count).

Moreover, couple of app behaviour observation, don't know if those are somehow related with the issue:
1) When maps are added to the list, they appear _below_ the base map - opposite to free version, where list is build bottom to top - as I add more maps. This is also seen in the screen.
2) When no maps are added (i.e.) base map only, if i zoom base map, it add's some of the map recently used by itself.

Ok, the "+" version you're using is few years old.

Please use the last version from the Play Store, currently 3.0b.

Yes, I have checked and it's turns out 1.21+, but this is what is available (i.e. was installed by itself) through Amazon Appstore. I wanted to buy commercial version at the very beginning, since I found application useful for me, but unfortunately Google Play is not available in my Country (Georgia). At some point it appeared at Amazon while browsing through, so I went for it. How should I get latest version now ?

could you please provide your feedback on this ? For me it looks like that old obsolete version is still available via unmanaged channel/account of Psyberia through Amazon Appstore, which is still payable. I beleive in this case you have to either shutdown this account or provide support.

Please advise how to proceed further. I would love to get the working latest version of software somehow, even in non-standard way.

Hi again and sorry for the delay.
The versions available on Amazon are perfectly fine, they are just older and so don't have all newer features.
But I've submitted an update, if accepted by Amazon you should get it within one or two days. Let me know if not.

all clear, thanks for your input. I can see latest developers update filed change as well as the version. However Amazon Appstore doesn't make any push about it and "Updates: menu says that no update required. I'm sure I can workaround this by uninstall reinstall the All-In-One+, but i would like debug the whole process end-to-end.

Please give me couple of days I'll sort out it with Amazon support and then come back to you to confirm that layering issue is resolved.

Meanwhile can you please feedback whats your update policy for Appstore ? I.e. will you rollout from now on the updates in regular manner or you need a customer call for it ?

Great you got the update.

Concerning your question about the update policy, the main distribution channel of the application in the Google Play Store. This is where 99.5% of users get it and this is where it's updated on a regular basis.

For users that don't have access to it, don't want to use it or cannot access paid apps there, we provide the ability to get the complete full of our more complete version dedicated to outdoor activities called AlpineQuest directly on our website.

Finally, OfflineMaps is also released on some other markets such as Amazon, but it's less frequently updated. Since it wasn't updated for a very long time now, I took the opportunity to update it following your "problem". I'll try to keep it more up to date there in the future.
