[closed] GPS location not tracking while screen is sleeping

I love alpine quest! Have been using it with both my previous Motorola phones. I just upgraded to Samsung s9+and when I use the app it only tracks while the screen is on. Every time the screen sleeps the tracking stops and resumes upon turning screen back on. The location is on and seems to work in other apps. So not sure if its setting in the app that i can't find or a bug. In the mean time I'm still using my old phone as I depend on this great app alpine quest.

This is likely due to an optimizer app or some activated economy mode that turns off the GPS while screen if off to save battery.

Be sure to disable this mode while tracking.
