Hi,
I'm using this app many years ago (totally satisfied!), but I started to use "Compute slope" function nowadays. It's a really useful feature!
If it's not too difficult can you add a (maybe disable-able) slope value to the "Outdoor GPS" line - when map center is moved away from current location.
I attached a picture. I drawn by red what I'm thinking.
On a trip I could easily decide what way is steeper and what is flatter.
(Maybe it would be a useful feature at target center line too.)
And one more little suggest: Now slope arrows indicating to lower elevated points, but for me it would be more logical to indicate to the other way - to the higher elevation. Maybe I'm the only one with this problem.
Can you add a slope direction setting to the user_settings.conf?
Many thanks for your help and your previous works too!
Best regards

Yes, it makes perfect sense, but where on the slope line would you position the arrow and percentage?

Re: slope display from map center to current GPS location
You can put the "Compute slope" tool as a custom button, this way you can get what you need in 2 taps.
Also, note that the GPS elevation is only known at your current (real-time) location, and not at the other point when you move the map centre (and both elevations need to be known to compute the slope between them). So for this to work you need the elevations feature activated.
For the user setting I think it can be done.

Of course near to map center point otherwise it won't be readable.
As I've drawn it.

Thanks for your quick reply.
Yes, custom button is a solution.
Thanks for making the user setting.

Re: slope display from map center to current GPS location
As an update: to avoid any doubt, new versions now always display arrows following the direction of the line.
Refer to the sign of the value. Ex:
---- 8% -->-- = uphill with slope of 8%
---- -3% -->-- = downhill with slope of 3%
