[closed] Visibility of current location pointer

I find that locating the current position on the map at a glance is quite tricky, especially if the map has a lot of detail. Would it be possible to have the location more visible with, say, a red circle (ideally flashing) surrounding the location dot such as I have seen on other map applications

Hi,
Right now, you can change the default color of the pointer (see this discussion: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=1757).
In the next major update, we'll change the pointer with something better (like a much visible icon or something like that).
