Splitting recorded routes
Is there an easy way of splitting a recorded route into one or more separate ones?

Re: Waypoints text size
OK, got it - and I did save "settings conf" into the assigned storage device. The waypoint description text is indeed slightly larger and is now only just within the limit of my visual acuity. Is it not possible to give users more flexibility and choice regarding text size? I would really ...

Re: Waypoints text size
I see, to my surprise, that there seems to be no "alpinequest/" folder on my SGSIII phone's internal storage, but only on the ExtSdCard. I did not move AQ to the external SD card, and the App Manager shows the app as not having been moved. With my phone connected to my desktop PC, even &qu...

Re: Waypoints not showing on new tablet
I've actually always been using the same version of AQ on both my SGSIII phone and on my Nexus10 tablet -- i.e., 1.4.19 up until last night, when I updated both devices to 1.4.20. I always update manually, and I keep all my apps meticulously up to date. I'm confused now about the storage location on...

Re: Waypoints text size
Thank you - I shall look forward to the update. And thanks again for an excellent app!
I am, incidentally, using 1.4.19 - I have just checked.

Re: Waypoints text size
I attach a screenshot showing one of the waypoints' comments. It's perfectly readable on my desktop, which obviously shows a larger image overall, but on my 4.8 inch SGSIII, it's too small for me to read. I suppose younger eyes have no problem with it, but I'm a bit older than that! My wife also fou...

Re: Waypoints not showing on new tablet
Thanks for your reply. I read "How to change the location of stored data" from your link. Please indulge me as I describe more fully what I'm experiencing. My tablet runs Android 4.4.2 and my phone is Android 4.3. My phone has an external SD card, while my tablet does not. Both devices ref...

[closed] Waypoints text size
I have a number of waypoints within which I've included text pasted from websites into the waypoint's "comment" box. That text shows correctly when I tap on a waypoint on the map, but it is too small to read (for me, at any rate) without a magnifying glass. May we have an option to increas...

[closed] Waypoints not showing on new tablet
I've recently got a replacement N10 tablet and copied my backed up AQ files into the appropriate folder on the new tablet. They include a variety of offline maps, and waypoints, which are in folders and subfolders relating to countries and locations within the countries. Within the existing "al...

Re: Editing waypoints outside AQ
I'd actually rather not use GE (my version is the same as yours) as it's a bit of a cluttered interface. Since I have only about a dozen waypoints, I'll do this lot by swapping between the phone browser and AQ, and hope that you (or someone else) might find time one day to produce a simple WPT edito...

Re: Editing waypoints outside AQ
I'm making really heavy weather of this. I finally managed to get the WPT files into a GPX file (but the process was not all intuitive), and I then dragged the resulting GPX file out onto my PC's desktop. From there I tried to load it into Google Earth, but that just beeped at me and showed nothing....
