Re: Follow path ?

Hi again,

I tested the follow path "new features" this weekend.
Thanks very much for the added changes, I like them.
The bug I mentioned in my previous posts is now corrected. :D

I think we can mark this topic as done.

Best regards

Re: Add a new waypoint / photo

Hi,

I am not totally convinced but I accept your desired behavior for the "center menu".

I would be gratefully for your suggested " advanced option ".

Thank you.

Re: Add a new waypoint / photo

Hi, As you already noted for sure my English isn't very good. So, perhaps I am missing something out or I am not sufficiently clear. CRider, I used the "return way" of the center mark to the current GPS location as you clearly described. Thanks anyway for your comment. I also prefer clear ...

Re: Add a new waypoint / photo

Hi, Yes, I know I can click on recorded track, however as I wrote in the first post: " Sometimes is difficult ( if we have several open and displayed tracks ) to use the single tap on the track we are saving to insert a waypoint. " This frequently happens and we must do several tries until...

Re: Add a new waypoint / photo

Hi again, Yes you are right, the waypoints created using the "center menu" are located where is the center mark. :( "To create a waypoint in a recording track we must move the center on the track first" - In my opinion, this behaviour don't make easier to insert a waypoint when r...

Re: Follow path ?

Hi Thanks for the "New follow path side panel" with remaining distance, gain and ETA display. However, I would like to see (if possible of course), additional information as I mentioned in my last post. i) the name of the followed track ii) total distance of the followed track iii) distanc...

Re: Add a new waypoint / photo

Hello again! Thanks for the new version 1.4.13 of AQ . Concerning the "screen center menu" to add a waypoint on the "tracker", unfortunately a bug still remains :( : - the waypoints are shown in the map and saved to gpx file at the locations where the "center mark" is p...

Re: Add a new waypoint / photo

Hi,

No problems for this "disagreement" ;)

I will wait for the next release. I hope this issue and the other concerning the follow-path ( see viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1701 )
are addressed there.

Many thanks.

Best regards

Re: Add a new waypoint / photo

Hi, In last release of AQ (1.4.12), I think there are some bugs concerning the creation of new waypoints using the "screen center menu", as you sugest in your post (I am trying to get used to this option): When I use the location tracker workspace - > Add Waypoint The waypoints are correct...

Re: Add a new waypoint / photo

Hi, You are right, I didn't know the screen center menu. If I have several landmarks and I am recording I could shift the center from my current position and tap on it and add a waypoint. This is of course better than the annoying behaviour .... However, it wouild be faster and easier if we could (w...

[done] Follow path ?

Hi I'm having problems understanding how the follow path feature works and what it's goal. On topic [sticky] Summary list of suggested features http://www.alpinequest.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=224 There is an entry that I think is related with the follow path feature that says: "ETA on ...
