Re: Global Dark Mode Support
Or better still, make it configurable via a user setting.

Global Dark Mode Support
Not sure if Global Dark Mode is an Android 10 feature, or a Xiaomi MIUI 11 feature, or a combination of the two, however, it is quite a neat feature for forcing dark menu schemes onto apps that do not have a native Dark Mode setting, such as AQ. It actually works well in AQ with one slight exception...

How To Unlock An ExtSD AQ Storage Location on Android 10
This is an old Marshmallow issue that I thought I'd seen the last of, however, it is back in Android 10. If you store maps on an external SD card and you don't want them to be deleted should AQ ever get un-installed, the you need to pick a location other than the Google "standard". AQ give...

Re: Perspective View
Just drag the map DOWN with two fingers to enable Perspective View and drag UP with two fingers to disable it.
You can also disable it completely in the settings (Perspective map view).

Re: Support .obf maps from osmand - feature request
I second that, if it is possible. The OSMAND UK off-line map is nice and compact and also looks pretty good with its contour and hill shading layers.

Re: Following routes
Hi, The "significant waypoints" already exist. Just create a route instead of a path and follow it. The application will target the next waypoint on the route, and automatically switch to the next one when the "follow distance threshold" is reached. And in the explorer mode you ...

Re: Following routes
I like the idea of significant waypoints. Maybe these could be displayed with either a different coloured dot, and/or a dot of a different shape, eg. square, triangle or star.

Re: Yellow squares to represent stale tiles
https://www.offline-maps.net/en/help/maps/stored/check-coverage mentions red squares, and green squares. However I have an idea, how about also adding yellow squares? Yellow squares would represent tiles that have already been downloaded but are already older than their expiration date. If tile exp...

Re: zoom-values become 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7
For the casual user, this is just saying that you are at the relative zoom level, X out of Y, which probably makes sense for most users. But, I agree that the real map zoom value should also be displayed, maybe in brackets.

Re: Inclined view is disorienting
Great app! Using it for years. The new inclined view is visually disturbing and disorienting to me. Is there a way to toggle back to normal map view? Have to agree that I am not a great fan of this distorted perspective either. Not really sure what it is attempting to achieve as it just makes every...

Re: [closed] Bluestacks (Android on Windows)
There is a utility, BSTweaker, which is supposed to allow you to resize the emulated ROM, but unfortunately this particular function is not yet implemented in BS4. This has now been partially fixed in BS v4.60 / BSTweaker v5.1060 , where you can now resize upto 128Gb . Hint, if you are going to re-...

Re: Track editor software for Windows
Hello, I am looking for a Windows app that will let me display maps from OpenTopoMap and create GPX tracks on it, free if possible. Is there anything like that ? Thanks in advance Alternatively, you could run AQ within BlueStacks 4 on your PC. You will need an SSD to host it on for performance, but...

Re: Landmark Open URL Via Long Press Not Working Correctly
This is fixed in v2.2.0.r5342. It works perfectly now, many thanks for the prompt fix 8-) One small request, if I may. This is not a bug and I fully understand the reasoning behind it, but it would be nice to be able to bypass the "re-import" dialog box that is displayed if a previously di...
