Re: Direction for displayed track or making completed

I figured it - I was using a GPX and didn't import it - now the option is visible! Is there any chance for more styles? Although the arrows are a good start, I don't find them easy to see as they are small, white (not line coloured) and are spaced quite far apart.

Thanks

Re: Direction for displayed track or making completed

Thanks for the reply. I can't see how to change the style... Under edit details I have source, comment, url, description, type and colour - but nothing to change the style. Am I missing something here?

[closed] Direction for displayed track or making completed

I tried to use AQ to follow a route today, but ran into a problem where the inbound track shared some of the outbound track and in one place there was the route passed the same section before then turning a different way. I was using the follow track but it struggled and often just jumped to the nea...

Re: extremely large text size

I am also having the same problem using a OnePlus One with CM12, Dec set to 360. All of the menu text is very big and the icons are out of place in some menus (see attached screenshots)

[closed] GPS Tracking Frequency

I know there is the ability to change the tracking interval by time, but it would be nice to also have an option to be able to set it by distance. E.g. 6ft between points, regardless of time travelled. I use the GPS tracking for mountain biking, and in some places I can be travelling at over 30 mph ...

Re: Community Landmarks - Cannot Login

Ah fixed it - after creating an account make sure you close AlpineQuest, then go back into it and you can login OK. Is it possible to upload existing landmarks? Edit: Can copy/paste the landmarks from local SD to online. This is a nice feature! Although they can only be shared with friends, would it...

[closed] Community Landmarks - Cannot Login

I wanted to test out the Community Landmarks feature - I created an account using the New Account button, but when I enter my login details and press Sign In, nothing happens - like there is no activity assigned to the button.

[done] Remember status of Geolocation / Orientation

When I quit and reload AlpineQuest I have to keep re-enabling Geolocation and Orientation - can these be made to restore settings as when the application exited?

Re: Creator - GPX Management

Sorry, I meant in the Map Creator - the idea being that if I can plot a route offline at home/wherever using the Map Creator which is easy to browse and switch maps etc - to create a complex route, and then upload it to the memory card. So of course when creating a long route it is easy to mess up (...

Re: Not saving Atlas as settings display on screen in Creato

True, the ability to have different sources/zoom levels for different areas is quite a good idea, though I have not tried - how about the ability to change the settings for an existing selection? I found when I was trying out different sources/zooms and uploading to the memory card that I had to kee...

Creator - GPX Management

 It would be great if you could edit waypoints. For example I added say 10 waypoints but then I wanted to insert one in the middle somewhere it would be great if it just listed all waypoints and you can pick a slot to insert a new one into (or delete one). It would also be great if you could m...

Not saving Atlas as settings display on screen in Creator

This caught me out whilst I was playing and trying to create some custom maps. If you select an area and add it to the content, but then change the zoom or map source it does not take affect for the already selected area. Instead you must delete the selection and then re-add it with the new settings...

[done] Follow WayPoints / Automatically Select Next WayPoint

I think this feature would be useful - I use Alpine Quest with UK OS maps / Cycle map for mountain biking and it would be useful if after you reach a way point it (or within a certain distance of one) it could automatically switch to the next waypoint. I like the speed of scrolling the maps and zoom...
