Re: Distance/elevation between two points in a GPX track
Psyberia-Support, That's great news, thank you for addressing this issue and I look forward to the new release! Yes, I've always preferred GPS over a pedometer app -- I'm just not comfortable making assumptions about step length. GPS seems a much more natural way to estimate distance, since it inher...

Re: Distance/elevation between two points in a GPX track
Hi Lief, I'll have a look, but if it has been removed it's not intentional... And in this case I'll put it back. Thanks for your reply, and thanks for checking. Yes, unless I am insane I am pretty certain that the feature ("distance traveled so far" for any given point on a currently reco...

Re: Distance/elevation between two points in a GPX track
Hello, Ingensor. Thanks, yes, your screenshot shows the kind of information I am seeking -- "distance traveled so far" for any given point, but, for the currently recording track.

I have a request that is related, but more basic. I, also, have used and appreciated AlpineQuest for many years, daily in fact; and I have often (tried to) use it to determine hiking distances. What I used to be able to do in AlpineQuest was to tap on a point in the current (active) track, memorize ...

No predictive text when editing Description
I've used AlpineQuest for years and I always enter a trip summary for the track in the Description (under "Edit Details"). In the past this text entry process always provided me with predictive text (i.e. suggested words are displayed and continue to update as I type a word). Currently I a...

Re: How to caculate path distance between 2 points in an active track?
I just noticed, this request is not listed on the "summary list of suggested features" (sticky thread), so I am reminding you about this just in case.
Thanks,
Leif
Thanks,

(1) export multiple tracks and (2) auto-load tiles by viewing
Hello, (1) When returning from travels, I often have multiple tracks recorded. I would like to export them all in bulk (i.e., using multi-select) to .gpx files, and then share them all, in bulk, via bluetooth. Currently I have to do them each individually -- It is a pleasant ritual of sorts, but wou...

[done] How to calculate path distance between 2 points in an active track?
While recording a track, I would like to know what distance I am (along the path of the track) from an earlier point on the track. It seems that in "statistics", you can get the current total track distance, but cannot get distance for any of the individual track points. After you stop rec...
