Re: Option to include selected Placemarks as a layer in a Mapset
I don't know if this helps. You can create a placemark container file. Then copy any placemarks you want to include in a layer into that placemark container. The placemark container can then be displayed or undisplayed as a whole. It is not quite as convenient as what you are suggesting but it is fa...

[fixed] java.lang.NullPointerException
Hi I found a bug in version 2.3.0. To reproduce the bug, choose any point along a track and set it as a target. Then tap that target point. The following toast message then appears. An error occurred. Call: eqx.onEvent(onLocationClicked,[AlpineQuestActivity, cvv, cvp]) Class: so Throws: java.lang.Null...

Re: New "map.coordinates.openwith_provider"s in user_settings.conf
The custom providers will be fantastic. I will not have the opportunity to try it for about a week and a half. I'm going on a trip where I will sometimes be relying on Alpine Quest so proven reliability takes precedence over new features. I look forward to trying it when I get back. By the way, Alpi...

New "map.coordinates.openwith_provider"s in user_settings.conf
You have recently added "Bing Maps" and "Apple Plans" to the Open with URL's. These items are not in your documentation for user_settings.conf. It was easy to figure out the corresponding setting name for Bing map.coordinates.openwith_provider.bing= but I can't figure it out for ...

[closed] Problem fetching and displaying out of bounds tiles in zoom level 0
As I was starting to write my second post of the night about possible problems with AQ I realized that I should say that AQ is by far the best app I have found for displaying maps. The app is small fast and runs well on older phones. On to the problem. If you zoom out to z=0 AQ will try to fetch til...

[fixed] Bug zooming out with volume buttons or the +/- buttons
There is a problem using the volume buttons or the +/- buttons to zoom out (decrease z). If the map is being displayed at the minimum zoom level for the bottom map layer (see pic1) and you press the volume down button or the - button, all displayed maps will disappear. The only map left is the base ...
