Can anyone tell me whether the compass bearing from your own location to centre of map is a MAGNETIC bearing or a GRID bearing?
TIA

Re: Map Scales - Manual input for custom range of scales.
Hi, no not quite what I was looking for. I want to be able to manually input the map scale e.g. 1:25 000 and lock the map to that scale. Is there any way to do this?

Is there currently or will there be in the future a way to manually input and save a range of custom map scales, i.e. when you zoom in and out the map automatically goes through a custom range of scales e.g. 1:5000, 1:10 000, 1:25 00, 1:50 000, 1:100 000 etc.?

Any further information on this topic would still be appreciated.

[closed] Ordnance Survey .qct Grids and AlpineQuest in-app Grids/GPS locations don't match.
So, I purchased the full version of AlpineQuest to be able to use gridsquares on maps. I have currently got UTM grids displayed over an Open Street map. It is when I displayed an Ordnance Survey .qct Memory Map of my local area the I noticed that the grid squares are way off from one another i.e. th...
