Re: [closed] Forcing track finish to clean a track
Hello,
I'm sometimes using this feature and it happend to me several times that the whole track got deleted. I assume I made a wrong manipulation but is there a way to recover it ?

Re: Altitude profile and gain based on map altitude data
Hi, I think it would be a really nice feature given the lack of vertical accuracy of gps data. On my device I sometimes get altitude "jumps" of 50 to 200 meters which are too big to filter. I checked recorded data in one example: 200 m jump from one measurement to the next, and then it tak...

Altitude profile and gain based on map altitude data
Hello, When I record a path the altitude from the GPS is noisy and I often get spikes in the altitude even if the xy position looks correct. As a consequence the computed altitude gain/loss are wrong. Is it possible to compute the altitude profile and gain/loss based on the altitude data obtained fr...

Re: [closed] Insert here
I now switched AQ to English to use the exact same words as in the app.
In fact what I expected to do was to be able to use the same tools to edit a recorded path and a route. Is there more difference between a path and a route than the tools used to edit them?

Re: [closed] Swiss maps tiles
I did it, even forced update of the map and slopes layer, restarted the phone: the error message is still displayed.

Re: Network or GPS location source
Hello, Thanks. Thie configuration you propose is useful to avoid that localization source remains the network. However I would have preferred to keep the option to use automatically network data if GPS data is not available. I would just like AQ to try to switch immediately to GPS whenever it is ava...

Network or GPS location source
Hi, On previous versions of alpinequest there was a message telling the user to activate the GPS if it wasn't. It doesn't behave like that on my Xiaomi redmi 6. Is that a desired feature? I noticed that when the GPS is not working, then location data is obtained from the network or wifi. The problem...

Re: Keypad does not appear
I could reproduce the bug with the hints you gave: when I get to alpinequest via the display over lockscreen feature, then there is no keypad when I create a point.
So a workaround is not to use this feature when text needs to be typed.
Thanks

[closed] Keypad does not appear
Hello, When I need to type a few letters in Alpinequest, the keypad sometimes does not appear. It happened to me when I wanted to save a recorded track and give it a name, and also when I created a waypoint and wanted to give it a name. The cursor is in the name field, but the keypad is not present....
