Thanks Ingensor & François that works great

I quite regularly adjust the opacity of map layers, while I can see the usefulness of this setting for users unfamiliar with favorites, I'm finding this message to be a bit of a pain, could there be a user setting so it doesn't display or a box to tick don't show again.

thanks for your help , this file and others work now, Just to note that using the option "Quotes all text fields" is when you save CSV using OpenOffice Calc rather than MS Excel.

When I import a set of waypoints in CSV format the number of points is truncated, yet if I import the same data as CSV to Google Earth Pro, export as a KMZ and then import the KMZ to Alpine Quest the missing data points are there.

In this instance I'm using an edited version of the Geolytix Retail ...

not sure if this is a bug or intended behaviour.

Under 'Displayed Maps' if I select the three dots for the relevant map, then select 'Force update local area (this session only)' by scrolling the map it will force update - which is the expected behaviour

If you check FAQ on the help page ( https://www.lightpollutionmap.info/help.html#FAQ ) it says:

so it is just natural light pollution on the data.

In the instance of using the contour data I'm inputting vector data into QGIS, manipulating it to desired style and outputting raster MBTiles which are compatible with AQ.

Could AQX be used to define how local files are loaded - so particular files could be assigned to different zoom levels?

In my case I often use maps saved in MBTiles format, but when I create them I have to use a range of zoom levels such as 12-19 or as single zoom levels.
Often I save large areas ...

It is just shows that the AQ task has completed, normally there will be a few errors as the select and save an area process progresses then the last stage in the process is retrying to fetch those error tiles.

Would "Task Completed" be better wording from the jidanni point of view

Currently if you change 'location format' in the 'settings' menu it applies to all workspaces.

Would it be possible to apply the the location format settings to particular workspaces so that when you change workspace the location format automatically changes.

So when you create a new workspace ...

Using the grid overlay works quite well, thank you.

The grid overlay - could the British National Grid use the letter codes on the grid overlay rather than the fully numerical grid references?

When using the print map feature would it be possible to use the Location Format set in the app rather than Lat/Long?

I noticed this issue a long time ago, but couldn't work out what I'd done to repeat the issue on demand, seems to fall outside of normal app usage.

Use the menu to bring up "select and save an area", you can adjust the bounding box, now if you go through the menu again and "Select and save an area ...

Would it be possible to have a user setting to turn off the blue overlay - so if a map layer isn't displayable at a particular zoom level you can carry on using the layers that will display uninterrupted.
